The Groupie Journals is a ghost town.
I'm wondering if people will ever use it again? Is there any interest or should it be dropped as a feature on HITS forever?
It seemed like such the thing to do, back in the day. People would come on the forums or the LJ and share their experiences at the shows. Then an official place was created and it kinda ....stopped.
Remember the purpose of HITS is to be run by the fans so it's not just my decision, here.

Can't have a journal without shows. I agree with Olly.

I actually was going to write one up for that in July after the NYC show, since there were a lot of new details (they played Internet Episode #4 "Taken For A Ride" and Blinded By The Light, and stuff) but my computer had crashed recently after that date, complicating my life quite a bit. By the time I was operational again I was too lazy.

Honestly, I never used the groupie journals because I didn't ever feel like reading the other ones... As much as I'm excited for other people to be able to see the band, I don't ever feel like reading about the two hour long car ride there or a detailed description of how the opening band was. That said, I never felt like anyone would want to hear my story unless something really extraordinary happened.

This was also before they had national exposure. This site will always have a ratio of 999 lurkers to 1 poster. It's how the internet works. An increase in the volume of dedicated fans, however, should result in an increase in content. Give it time.
