Demos: Fair game?

#1 Post by mattgcn »

After an exhaustive internet searching I have been left short. I am missing Two Wuv from Complete Demos and Good Day from Pingry.

I am unconcerned about the new album demos right now though I am intrigued by Time Machine and would love to hear it.

If it's fair game or not, could someone still contact me at mattgcn [at] illemonati.com on the matter? I'd like to know and it would be great if I could complete my collection :)

well all I'm a-gonna say is don't look for Good Day to be on Pingry.
It's a snippet of the song they were playing while in the Albom Show studio and it was very brief and then went into a quick interview, all lasting a total of 45 seconds.

Ah, okay. I figured it might be something like that, though that sounds nice and it would be great to hear in full I imagine...

And Two Wuv- should I just keep lookin'?

It would be cool to hear the whole appearance on the show, yeah. But as for Pingry EP, just so there's no misunderstanding, you understand what I posted is the entire track.

I really hate getting into any sort of file sharing on here because once one person asks for something, all the other lurkers start flooding in and asking for things. It's not that I'm a mean person......

In fact, sometime's I'm too nice.

You're wonderful!

I won't push past these though, I just wanted the releases complete (albeit often in MySpace rip quality, but it's better than nothing).

Also I'll probably come more often without just asking for things. I do tend to do that though :P

Oh my! That's a lot of stuff. But I don't think I'll get it. I feel sort of bad just taking it.

Eh, I figured since it was all free I may as well. If I ever had a chance at physical copies of Complete Demos or Pingry I'd be right on it

Download or use WinRAR, then extract them to your music folder, or whichever folder you'd like.

Oh, tis a file compressing/extracting program. Get it here.

And as for the Simon recording, it's from a MySpace so I dunno when it was made.

Since we're on the subject here as well (I posted this question on the officiall Tally Hall forums too), does anyone know how many recordings exist of "Time Machine?" Also, does anyone know IF a recording exists of "At Least a Day?"

I'd love to know as well. I'm a relatively new fan, and even newer member of any organised community for Tally Hall.

(Definitely not new to song hunting, mind you)

here's a bit of advice then
(which was mentioned on the official forums, too)

usually discussions like this should happen on AIM because certain files can't be advertised online.

That is to say, if the files even exist.

It's a conspiracy.
